TLS survey and sediment measures at the Uilenkraaldam
On Sep 8th, Jussi and Michael die TLS measurements around the Uilenkraaldam, which is approx. 20 km east of Gansbaai. In the meantime, Hayley and William from the Council of Geoscience were on a boat measuring the sediments of the Uilenkraaldam.
The Earth Observation group was driving through the study area, validating their change maps.
2nd day field trip and meetings in the Agulhas study region
Today the SALDi team performed sediment measures at the Buffeljags dam. In addition, we met our cooperation partners from LandCare and the Department of Agriculture Western Cape Government in Bredasdorp.
Meetings and Fieldtrip in Agulhas Study Region
Today we had very fruitful meetings with CDNGI and SAEON in Cape Town before we visited our northern part of our Agulhas study site to evaluate our first change maps derived from ESAs Sentinel-1/2 data.
